In this episode of two minute history, I try to do away with the popular notion that black feminist thought is a relatively new phenomenon… when history says black women have been trying to improve their lives and gain more equality to men. Also, I do want to clarify that an estimated 125,000 women traveled to Philadelphia from around the country. The actual estimate of attendees was between 300K and 1 million.
